MY “JOB” Not really a job…c’mon

I represent a group of wineries here in Napa and Sonoma.

  • Tasting grapes off the vine pre-harvest
  • Barrel Tastings of Most Wines
  • Pre-Release Tasting
  • and of course tasting Aged Wines

I also get a chance to taste a lot of the vintages out of the barrel and even get out into the vineyards with the winemakers and get my hands dirty.

MY FAVORITE PART: Grilling each of our 10 winemakers

  • winemaking practices
  • winemaking trends
  • winemaking philosophys
  • what ruins wine
  • what makes great wine
  • how to make wine
  • how mass production of wine is different than what high-end producers do

All of our winemakers have drastically different styles, philosophy, and perspective on what practices that work best in certain areas, and that is fun for me, because I get both sides of the spectrum and give that to you!

Custom Etching is the absolute best presentation you achieve on a bottle. My etching artist has been doing this for over 25 years and all work is done here in-house at the winery. My clients use these for client gifts, gift to family, for weddings, you name it, we do it, and we do it better than anyone else at the best price in the business.

Custom Labeling is a complimentary service provided on our Windsor Vineyards wines. We’ve been doing custom labeling since the mid 70’s making us the first winery to custom label our wines in the world, and we’ve been a the top in the category ever since. Put your business logo on the label, a nice thank you to friends and family, or create your own Reserve label for your Saturday night feasts.

Windsor Vineyards has been among the top three most award-winning wineries in the U.S for over 50 years. Great emphasis is placed on investing in barrels, vineyards and technology but also on providing wines directly to the consumer. Windsor Vineyards’ goal is simple – to make wines everyone loves, accessible and affordable.
In the early days, so many customers asked then owner, Rodney Strong, to reserve their favorite wines, that he started putting their names on the labels. As customers bought the wines for personal use and for holiday gift giving, personalized wine labels and shipping directly to customers and gift recipients became a Windsor Vineyards tradition.
Today, Windsor Vineyards is one of the few producers who specializes and offers custom corporate logo labels, custom labels for wedding favors and holiday wine gift ideas.

Thirty years after first planting its vineyards, Girard continues to produce wines reflecting the quality that has made Napa Valley the most famous New World wine-growing region in the world.
At Girard, vintner Pat Roney continues the tradition of making Chardonnay and Cabernet-based wines. But he is also expanding Girard’s varietal focus to Zinfandel and Petite Sirah grown on century-old vines that dot the Napa countryside. New vineyard plantings are also underway on both Diamond and Howell Mountains, which border the western and eastern edges of the valley.
Girard’s goal is to highlight the flavors of Napa Valley and its rich, ripe grapes. A small portion of the winery’s portfolio also comes from grapes grown in Sonoma’s upscale Russian River Valley, where cool weather offers ideal conditions for Chardonnay.
With the right grapes from the right locations, Girard offers a lineup that features both power and finesse–key words in California wine.

Founded over 30 years ago in Saint Helena, California, original owners Tony Cartlidge and Glenn Browne sought to create only the highest quality, premium wines from California AVAs. With the flexibility to source and produce wine from the finest vineyards in California – Sonoma Coast, Mendocino and into the Sierra Foothills – Cartlidge & Browne seeks to supply wines that are food friendly, full-bodied and European in style.
Since the release of Cartlidge & Browne’s first wines in 1980, Cartlidge & Browne has won the hearts of consumers who appreciate premium quality wine at modest prices. Cartlidge & Browne has grown exponentially over the past 30 years, gaining recognition from critics such as Robert Parker, The Today Show, and most major wine and food publications.
The Cartlidge & Browne slogan, “Please stick your nose in our business,” has become an offbeat way of expressing the winery’s attitude that wine should not be taken so seriously! The Cartlidge & Browne family want the wines they produce to encourage stories of good friends, good food, laughter and lasting memories.
